Max Parkin, Marketing Executive at Codelocks
Hi, I'm Max, twenty-three years old, History and Spanish graduate from The University of Exeter and the newest addition to the team at GEL Studios (website design and graphics agency in Swindon). I’m a big football fan, but not Swindon Town. I'm a bit of a history nerd with an unhealthy obsession with language learning and Duolingo. I can speak Spanish to a conversational level and hope to learn Catalan and Portuguese in the future.
I was born and raised in Newbury, Berkshire. But have spent some time living in Falmouth, Cornwall during University and Cartagena, Murcia, Spain while teaching English to Spanish primary school students.
Currently working as a Marketing Assistant for GEL, previously employed as a Sales Executive for AO Mobile.
A typical day for me is filled with planning and organising social media, writing content for blogs and generally making myself available to help wherever it's needed. I'm excited to develop my career in Marketing and see where this experience can take me.
I'm a CIM certified digital marketer, I understand how marketing can impact business and I'm ready to let that knowledge work for me by bringing fresh ideas and new opportunities to GEL Studios. Marketing is such an important part of how businesses operate in the current climate. I've already got some ideas bouncing around in my head which I hope will be beneficial so watch this space!
